Funnel report
With this new release, we introduce a complete new report type. Spoiler: one of many to follow. The new “funnel report” is not just a basic representation of your custom funnel, it’s way more than that.
Thanks to the advanced grouping mechanism, known from our “time series report”, the funnel report can be split and grouped by whatever criteria you like. For example: You want to understand, what “media source” makes it all the way through your funnel? No problem! Use our campaign tracking, UTM or adobe parameters to display the funnel divided by the campaign parameters.
The funnel report can be used with events, but also by all other countable values like active time, scroll rates and many more. Same for the groups. You can even group by your custom variables. This makes it a lot easier to track the performance of A/B tests, site personalization or whatever comes into your mind.
Like all other reports, this report type can of course be used via API. Example: Scroll funnel grouped by “device type”
Properties search
The search within the properties has been improved. The search now scans all tabs, field and also searches through tags helping to find matching events, triggers and selectors.
Data retention
The data purging per account is now implemented. Depending on the chosen data retention period, all data gets purged after the desired period.
Restoring a version is back
The restore feature within the versioning is back. Any version can now be completely restored and re-edited.
Event attribution
Within the “event report”, a filter can now be set for attributions. This makes it easy for example to hide invalid leads or any other unwanted events that have occurred. These attributes can now also be used to group events. Expert hint: another great way to combine with the “funnel report”.
