Facebook fined € 60M and Google fined € 150M by CNIL

CNIL, the French Data Protection Authority, fined Google and Facebook for not complying with the GDPR. Users are given an easy option to accept cookies, but a harder option to reject them. The tech-giants are using dark-patterns to optimise the opt-in rates which is clearly against the GDPR.
