A small change with a big effect. With this release, we have laid the foundation for a completely new loading behaviour within our reporting engine.
Async loading
Reports are now loaded asynchronously in the background. This means that a loading symbol appears in the “Run Button” in view mode until the report has been loaded. The browser remains normally accessible.
This makes it possible to leave the report, especially if it takes a long time to load. When you return, the report is ready and loads immediately.
We will continue to develop this feature. In the future, the user will be informed as soon as a report has been loaded. So stay tuned and always take a look at our release notes.
