Advanced session information
Sessions now hold more information. This includes referrer and location. These values get written down as soon as a session is created. Thanks to this new metrics, active times per referrer can be reported or you can simply find your top entry page. This new feature is the basis for even more information stored in sessions, coming with the next releases.
Cascading filters und groups
With the introduction of cascading filters and groups you get even more control over your filters. When not using cascading filters, the filter is applied to sessions, page views and user information. If applied, the filter will only be on the selected value and values hierarchically below the selected value.
Very similar to the filters, groups can now be controlled as well to be cascading. If cascading is not used, the grouping is only used on the same level as the selected parameter. If cascading is enabled, this will be done for all values recursively.
Fire events by pixel and redirects
It’s not always possible to implement a full tracking script. That’s why we came up with a new solution. Thanks to two new options, a tracking can be done even without a tracking script. Any event can be triggered by a pixel or by an url with a redirect location. This makes it simple to track actions, that don’t end on your fusedeck tracked site. Only limitation, the event is then fired without session or user information. But it contains all event parameter and transferred payloads.
Usability
Forms now have marks for mandatory fields. More fixes in the graph section, for a better and smoother experience. The sorting for custom dates is now implemented. There is now an edit button to access the report edit section directly.
