Data streams
With this release we have introduced data streams. Data streams can be seen as an overall filter that applies to all reports. So if a data stream is created within the reports section, all reports apply the filters defined in the stream. This can be very useful to sort traffic based on domain or subdomain. This can be used as well to filter internal traffic or bots and unknown devices.
Pinnable filter / dates
Filters and date ranges can be pinned in reports. If a filter or a date range is pinned, the filter and/or the date range will be taken over to the next report you open. This can be seen by the blue icon. Just click it again, to remove the pin. This is very useful, if you like to filter multiple reports for a specific campaign and date range for example.
Percent of total
With this new option on a series level, you can choose to display the result as a percentage of the total. For example: If you get 5 rows, let’s say browser families and the count of sessions is on “percent of total“, you will get the percentage of all browsers, instead of the pure session count. So all 5 rows will add up to 100%. If “percent of total by group“ is used, each grouping will add up to 100% instead of the total. Very handy if you create a country split resulting in 100% per country for the different browser families.
Notification center
We added a new notification center into the UI. Future updates and maintenance windows will be published in the new notification center. The ten last messages will remain and can be marked as read. So keep on logging in, for great news and status updates.
