fusedeck

Release Notes March 27, 2023

Report set can now be activated with plugin

Since plugins can now create reports themselves, we are now delivering the first report sets completely as plugins. Thus, in the future, the appropriate reports and dashboards will be available for every customer and every need, which can be activated or deactivated with a simple click and keep the report area lean and clear.

The following topics are now available as dashboards:

  • Behaviour reports: behaviour in the user journey
  • Campaign fusedeck: Campaign data with fusedeck® tracking
  • Campaign UTM: Mapping of Google UTM campaign parameters
  • Campaign campID: Representation of Adobe campID tracking
  • Inbound Reports: An overview of the inbound traffic on the website
  • Tag Manager Reports: All tag manager data for the use of fusedeck®
  • Visitor Reports: A summary of all user data

New plugins

  • Event Dispatcher: One event can trigger another event, thus complex chainings and race conditions are possible
  • Easy Click Trigger: Allows tracking of clicks only with a text condition, or the type of the clicked element
  • Google Ads Conversion Upload: Provides the basic functionality to import conversions to Google Ads.

Tag manager usability improvements

In the overview of the fusedeck® property it is now directly visible whether all tracking data of the respective property is working as planned. With the detailed view of the individual environments, a deeper insight is made possible in order to be able to immediately recognize the time in case of an interruption.

An event now also shows individually when it was last executed. Regardless of whether it writes data to Analytics or has a pure tag manager functionality.

Reports: adjustable chart limits

Charts with a vertical axis now allow user-defined setting of the displayed area. This enables a very specific display and, for example, allows filtering of peaks.

It is also possible to set only one limit range independently, in order to adjust only the lower or upper limit.

Reports: display of multiple time periods in the dashboard

Dashboards can now specify a separate date range for each widget. This allows flexible representations of different time periods in a dashboard, both absolute and relative. For example, the whole dashboard can show the last month, while a single widget shows the month before and another shows the same month of the last year.

Operations

In the area that is not directly visible, work is in progress in order to be able to provide a data storage facility in the future that can meet even higher demands than before.

We are also in the final preparations to move hosting and computing to a Swiss cloud provider. A test is already taking place here in the form of a POC with a first customer. With successful completion, all our customers will soon be able to benefit from compliance with even stricter data protection requirements.
